Sonja B. Grimm: Resilience and Reorganisation of Social Systems during the Weichselian Lateglacial in North-West Europe.

At the end of the Ice Age, people in northwestern Europe had to adapt to abrupt climate changes and far-reaching environmental changes. Sonja Grimm reconstructs this process on the basis of 25 archaeological sites in conjunction with climate and environmental archives. In this way, climate, environmental and cultural changes can be put into a temporal relation to each other, which for the first time allows well-founded statements about cause and effect.
