Die Gräberfelder vor der Südmauer der Befestigung von Keszthely-Fenékpuszta
Keszthely-Fenékpuszta is one of the most important archaeological sites of Late Antique Pannonia, where the survival of Roman and Early Christian traditions has been researched since the 19th century. Investigations have focussed primarily on the burial area to the south of the late Roman fortification. The present work catalogues and evaluates finds and features from this so called Südmauernekropole, which extend chronologically from the 4th to the 9th century AD. The study thus makes a fundamental contribution to the discourse on continuities and migrations in western Pannonia during the long Late Antiquity.
