Veröffentlichungen des Netzwerks Provenienzforschung in Niedersachsen

Der Band versammelt die Beiträge der gleichnamigen internationalen Konferenz, die im Juni 2021 in der Leibniz Universität Hannover veranstaltet wurde. Die Konferenz wurde von dem am Landesmuseum Hannover koordinierten Verbundprojekt „Provenienzforschung zu außereuropäischen Sammlungen und der Ethnologie in Niedersachsen“ (PAESE) geplant. Ziel war es, Akteur*innen aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zusammenzubringen, um Fragen, Methoden und (vorläufige) Ergebnisse im Bereich der Provenienzforschung zu Sammlungsgut aus kolonialen Kontexten zu diskutieren.

Claudia Andratschke studierte Kunstgeschichte, Geschichte und Rechtwissenschaften und promovierte in Tübingen. Seit 2008 ist sie als Provenienzforscherin am Landesmuseum Hannover tätig, seit 2013 zuständig für alle Fachbereiche, seit 2018 Leiterin der Abteilung Sammlungen + Forschung. Seit 2015 ist sie zudem Koordinatorin und Leiterin des Netzwerks Provenienzforschung in Niedersachsen. 2018-22 war sie verantwortlich für die Koordination des PAESE-Projekts. Schwerpunkte ihrer Tätigkeit, Forschung und Netzwerkarbeit sind Provenienzrecherchen zu NS-Raubgut und zu Sammlungsgut aus kolonialen Kontexten sowie Fragen der Standardisierung und Digitalisierung.

Lars Müller studierte Geschichte und Politik. Am Georg-Eckert-Institut Braunschweig bearbeitete er u.a. das DFG-Projekt "Afrikawissen. Diskurse und Praktiken der Schulbuchentwicklung in Deutschland und England, 1945-1995" in dessen Rahmen er promovierte. 2019 bis 2022 war er wissenschaftlicher Projektkoordinator des PAESE-Verbundprojektes. 2022 führte er ein Provenienzforschungs-Projekt zu Hans Schomburgk für den Museumsverband Sachsen-Anhalt durch. Seit 2023 ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Projekt „IN_CONTEXT. Colonial Histories and Digital Collections“ an der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (SPK). Daneben forscht er zu transnationalen Debatten um (postkoloniale) Restitution.

Katja Lembke studierte Klassische Archäologie, Ägyptologie und Latein in Tübingen, München, Rom und Heidelberg, wo sie 1992 promoviert wurde. Seit 2003 ist sie Korrespondierendes Mitglied des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts, seit 2004 Leiterin des Forschungsprojekts „Die Petosiris-Nekropole von Hermupolis/Tuna el-Gebel”. 2005-2011 war sie Direktorin des Roemer- und Pelizaeus-Museums Hildesheim, 2011 wurde sie Direktorin am Landesmuseums Hannover. Seit 2015 ist sie Honorarprofessorin an der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. 2018-22 war sie Sprecherin des am Landesmuseum Hannover initiierten PAESE-Projekts.
