Disiecta Membra. Forschungen zu Steinarchitektur und Städtewesen im römischen Deutschland
The series "Disiecta Membra. Research on Stone Architecture and Urban Planning in Roman Germany" (DMF for short) is the programmatic publication platform of the long-term academy project Disiecta Membra, which is dedicated to the documentation, edition, and research of Roman stone architecture in Germany. Project collaborators and associated scholars publish their research findings here in various formats (including conference proceedings, anthologies, exhibition catalogs, and monographs).
The focus is on Roman archaeology, history of archaeological research and knowledge practices (15th-20th centuries), and digital archaeology (including 3D technologies, quantitative methods, and research data management). In addition, the series touches on topics related to monument preservation, architectural and social history, building and urban research, provenance and network research, and integrates scientific analyses, especially archaeometry (geology and mineralogy).
