Einleitung

Anja Hell (MA) studied art history and German language and literature. She has been working for the Meissen Porcelain Foundation since 2015, initially as curator and since 2019 as its managing director. The focus of the foundation is the preservation of the cultural heritage of Meissen porcelain.

Lutz Miedtank studied at the Freiberg Mining Academy. He has been researching early Meissen porcelain for many years. One focus of his research is the decorative migration of the onion pattern between East Asian porcelain, faience and Meissen porcelain in the period from 1720 to 1740.
