EU Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Section 18 Accessibility Improvement Act (= Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz):
The Heidelberg University Library declares that the e-books offered on ART-Books website comply with the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility Improvement Act and European Accessibility Act (EAA) 2019/882. In justified and documented cases, it may happen that not all criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 are implemented.
This declaration applies to all e-books published by ART-Books in PDF format that are made available from 28 June 2025.
