The “Schriftenreihe des Bayerischen Landesamtes für Denkmalpflege” is the sequel of the time-honoured series of “Arbeitshefte des Bayerischen Landesamtes für Denkmalpflege”, which ended in 2008. It features publications on various topics such as the preservation of architectural, artistic and archaeological heritage in Bavaria. Among other aspects, the volumes deal with fundamental subjects of monument preservation, interdisciplinary research on monuments and extensive restoration measures.
The publications in this series are both monographs, e.g. doctoral dissertations, post-doctoral theses, and project reports, as well as anthologies with contributions by several authors, e.g. conference proceedings.
