Our Service

Heidelberg University Library provides the effective hosting for monographs, collected editions or series for Heidelberg University’s scientists at no charge.

Your work will be published in various formats – a digital edition as a PDF or HTML-file or a print edition (hard or soft cover) that can be purchased via local or online booksellers.

All publications get an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for long-term accessibility and the best possible visibility. The publications on heiBooks will be catalogued and referenced in national and international library catalogues, such as HEIDI, SWB, KVK, WorldCat, DOAB etc. and the full text will be furthermore indexed by search engines.
